About the artist

My work is concerned with forces that project strength. I’m interested in situations where something vast remains still — where pressure exists without movement and presence is felt without action.

The images are built around conditions rather than narratives. Scale, density, and suspension are used to create a sense of weight that accumulates quietly. Everything within the image operates under the same forces; nothing is elevated or explained.

I work primarily with oil, using realism as a way of slowing perception down. Precision is not descriptive but structural — a surface through which tension can remain unresolved.
